Amanda,
The Klosterman name is well known in the Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky
area. The name is synonomous with Klosterman's Bakery.
There are a number of Klostermans buried in Spring Grove Cemetery. I will
attach a link to their web site. If all goes well click on the numbers next
to the name and you will see the interment info.

If this link doesn't work try this one, just type in the last name

Here is a piece to look at, may not be what you want,

I saw in some of the resposes to your query that the Dubois Co. Klostermans
may have moved to Louisville. There are 13 Klostermans buried in Cave Hill
Cemetery. I used to be able to access those records but not anymore. Don't
know why unless Cave Hill has changed their policy. I hope this links works.

P.S. You are probably wondering how I am connected to Dubois Co. Indiana
from Burlington, KY. My grandmother Francis Agnes Prechtel was from Dubois
Co.

Subject: [INDUBOIS] Klostermans in Dubois County
I am researching my Klosterman relatives from the Dubois Co. area and
would love ANY information anyone could provide
Johann Fredrich Klosterman b. 1822 in Germany, died 1879 in
Huntingburg - he was a member of the Salem Evangelical Church - which
cemetery would he have been buried in most likely???? He came over
with his parents - WHO were they??
and his wife, Caroline Meier (Meyer) b. 1832 in Hanover, Germany -
married J.F. in Dubois Co. 1851 - She also came from Germany with her
parents (around 1842 according to Census answers) WHO were they?
I can't find either family on the 1850 census but they MUST have been
in the area by that time........
Their son Gerhard Henrich Klosterman is my line - he married Rosina
Barbara Wolf in 1880 in Dubois - according to tradition she had been
sent for to marry a minister by her Aunt Rosina Propheter who was
living in Huntingburg (a widow who I think married him herself (Jacob
Hummel) . . .. well, at least my Rosina didn't marry a minister.
Any details? Any idea where Caroline is buried? or Rosina Propheter
Hummel?
THANK YOU
Amanda
