Thanks for the info but don't see any Traylor-McCain connections. I do see
that those Armstrongs get around. I have been looking for a connection of
the Armstrongs to the Campbell family. In particular a James Armstrong
Campbell.
I have always thought that his mothers name was Armstrong and his dad was a
Campbell, that is how he got his middle name. I know that the grand folks
also used county names such as Armstrong, Pa. but I am sticking with the
family names at this time.

board on health (year not listed) in Wilson's History of Dubois
Co., pg.
279.
I am related to the Traylors--my great great grandmother was Vernesia
Traylor. Her parents were Elias Dixon Traylor and Elizabeth Gray.
I have a couple of modern-day McCains from Jasper in my database that
married into the Armstrong family.
