Stacey,
I have been researching the Wininger name for a very short time and have
only one other name to connect to Malinda. That is Alexander Wininger, a
farmer in Gibson County. Have not yet proven the relationship. Malinda and
Henry were in Orange County for a while and some of there children were born
in Paoli. IN.
After Henry's death in 1883, Malinda moved to Hazleton, Gibson County, IN.
There may be some connection with your Wininger but I have been
concentrating mainly on the Purkiser name at this time. I hope to know more
about Malinda in the future.

Malinda was my great grandmother. Is she of the same family as your
Wineinger with a variation in spelling? I have more information to share
if
there is a connection .
