Has anyone had problems with the burial indices at the British Library? I had a number of
burials to look up, some for myself and some for another lister, and kept finding that the
vol/folios given in the index didn't actually contain the records I was looking for.
It wasted a lot of time, so I ended up getting 13 lookups in 4 hours! Most frustrating.
Finally, what are the odds of two men with the same name, including middle name, also
having a job on the telegraph? Looking through the birth records, we found between two
relatives' births, a birth with an identical father but different mother! Either there
really were two of these men or my great-grandfather was a naughty chap.
