Assuming this message reaches the list before 1350 BST, on Tuesday 30
August, you can assume that at I am at a desk at the OIOC in London. I am
willing to do one quick, fully referenced BMD 'look up' and copy/transcribe
this for the first person to contact me before 1350 BST. It must be posted
to me offlist at <angus.ferguson60(a)btinternet.com> in order not to clog the
INDIA -L server. Also the subject box must read 'NEARLY LIVE AT THE OIOC'.
I will take the first message into my inbox. They are all timed, so I can
make a fair decision. If the first message I receive is unclear/ incorrectly
referenced, I will ignore it and move on to the next. If no message reaches
me by the allotted time I will continue with my research or go home.
Whatever comes first.
If I receive a message in this half hour time slot, I will inform this
person via the the list and personally, as soon as they are identified. I
will then attempt to find the record and post the transcript to the list,
and offlist to the recipient, before 2400 BST that same evening. If the
transcript requires discretion, it will be appropriately edited for public
consumption. All unsuccessful messages will be deleted the same day.
Looking forward to hearing from you
