Hi Tom,
My daughter and I read this cemetery in March 1999. Earlier records that may
be online might give the name on the stone next to Benjamin Cooper. I had
made a note that it was "next to Benjamin Cooper."
Rees Cemetery, Beginning on the west side
Row 1 S to N
Row 2 N to S
Row 3 S to N
Row 4 N to S
Row 5 S to N
# 6 Benjamin Cooper d. 11 Sept 1883, 96,11,25
# 7 (unable to read) Cooper, d. 21 March 1871 in her 80 y
Row 6... etc.
I just passed the cemetery the 4th of July and had I known a probable
name, I may have been able to make it out.

Hi Lou
Wow, Thank you very much for the information.
Have you published your material yet? I would be very interested in it
if you have.
Have you by ANY chance read Tomlinson Cemetery?
I am directly related to many up in Delaware Co. Surnames like:
LYKINS
McCLAIN/McCLANE etc
COOPER
GIBSON
Unfortunately....several of the LYKINS clan, buried at Tomlinson, have
lost their headstones and are not recorded in most 'readings'. Like
David LYKINS, b.15 Mar 1818 d.04 Apr 1883 and buried on 10 Apr 1883 at
the Tomlinson Cemetery. (That is according to his Obit.) I have no
idea what happened to his wife Jane, who died some years after him but
was living in Muncie as late as 1893 when she was listed in the City
Directory living with her son Andrew. She was listed as Mrs. Jane
LYKINS. By the way...they were my 2nd Great Grandparents.
Thanks again
Tom
