Virginia,
Windsor is located in Stoney Creek Township, Randolph County, its out past
Selma, and there is a Windsor Cemetery that could be the "nearby" cemetery.
I believe you have to take Windsor Rd to county road 1225 West. It dates
back to 1836. There is one other cemetery out there not too far from Windsor
called Cedar, it was across from the old Cedar Friends Church. It is east of
Windsor on Base Road. It is kinda hard to find, I have been there 2 times
and found it by accident each time. lol. But I just read the obit again and
it says Union Church, There was a church out past the Windsor Cemetery one
more road over on 1200 called Union, the church is no longer there but the
cemetery is on both sides of the road. It is called Old Terrell or Union.
There are several Clevenger's, Thornburg's, Dudley's and this cemetery has
three brothers that were all killed in the battle of Shiloh, and their
father went with a wagon to bring their bodies back. I need to go back to
this cemetery, all the family's I mentioned are in my line, and I have lots
of looking to do. If you want me to look for her marker when I go there, I
will.
