Shirley,
I know on the 1930 census my great uncle was listed on the census, as living
in the Prison, he is listed as an inmate, the census was listed as follows
1930 Madison County, Fall Creek Township, Indiana Census Page 18B ?12, 1930
Indiana Reformatory- April 1930
It was listed just like the children's home was listed in Delaware county.
Just like another household.
Maybe you can find what county they were convicted and spending their
sentence in. And look through those census records???

Well, the question comes up in a person giving up certain rights when
guilty of crime. Checking a recent census might be different than checking
public records. It might compare to sexual offender notifications.

Shirley,
Check out Belinda's recommendation. Some of those names are very
recent! I have no idea how the Dept of Corrections can publish
information
that the Indiana State Archives would not be free to provide.
