Thanks Shirley for the suggestions, however I have several obituaries, none
that I recall say that anyone was a member of a particular church, but when
I get a chance I will look at them again.
I have yet to stumble across a bio on family members. My particular lines
from Delaware Co. came about 1850, so they are not founding or early
settlers.
A lot of the older members of the family are buried (scattered) at Beach
Grove, they are not in one particular spot.
If anyone has other suggestions please let me know.
Thanks,

Brenda,
This is a good question and one I've considered researching for various
family
members. Just haven't done it. I have a couple of suggestions to
try but there is no guarantee.
An obituary is the most obvious place to mention the church a person
attended.
You might see if there is a bio on some member of the family. They
usually mention
the church they attended and a lot of times, the whole
family went there. (Hint: Often a bridegroom would change to his bride's
church.)
Large cemeteries usually have sections for Catholic. If you know the
cemetery, you
could check with the cemetery office to see if they're buried
in one of those sections.
If anyone else has suggestions, I'd be glad to hear those for my own
future
use.
Good luck!
Shirley

Subject: [INDELAWA-L] What church?
This may seem like an incredibly stupid question, but how do you find
out
which church, if any your family attended?
