Thank you. I'm going to try and locate the articles on that. Seems like someone
ought to have the names from those stones, mistakes or otherwise. I do know that monument
makers can blast those mistakes away and reuse them so I'm having a hard time
believing they trashed them on the riverbank. Monument stone is expensive. Know what I
mean?

I remeber a little - do not have a copy - it concerned some old tombstones that had
been found dumped along White River. The people who had found them were trying to
determine where they came from to reutrn them to thier proper location. As it later turned
out, the land owner had obtained some sample stones and some that had been made with
errors on them from Wearly Monuments and had placed them on his property to help control
erosion! How would you like to be the genealogist or archeaologosit trying to figure that
one out in a few hundred years!?!?!?
