Pat,
I've been trying to connect the Pucketts with the Picketts for a few years
now and haven't done so. Some say they are one and the same. Both families
in this area came through Randolph County and the Quaker church.
Fred Puckett, one time sherrif here, was a good friend of my grandfather's
and I have a wonderful picture of him. In fact, it's posted on the DelCo
rootsweb site so if you want a copy, you can take it from there or I can send you
a copy via email.
Shirley
Thanks a bunch Shirley
will go check out the picture
thanks
pat
I haven't really researched the Picketts , my line is the Hutson line
IJames Hutson was married to Mariah/Maria Puckett, they did NOT have any
children
She and John Smith did have a boy and a girl
they all lived and died in Richmond CO,WI
my James Hutson buried there too. he was brother of my great grandfather
Enoch Hutson who is buried there in Delaware Co MO at Jones cemetery.
My gr grandparents visited with James and Mariah in Richland and I have been
trying to figure out if Enoch died in WI and they sent body back to IN or if
he died in Delaware CO.
thanks
this is probably more than you wanted to know about my Hutsons
LOL
