Hello
I just received more information that you might not have come across. 1910 Census, Muncie,
Delaware County, Indiana. Robert Scott, Jr. 25, Married once, for 3 years (1907), retail
merchant, hardware store, Sue A. 28, married twice, mother of one child, b. KY father b.
PA, mother b. KY. Son Donald A., age 1 yr. 1 month. b. IN. Mother-in-law, Hanna Hemmingray
49, widow, mother of 3 (all living).
So Sue was married at least three times that we know of now.
I also found this online - Robert Carroll Hemingray, youngest son of Robert Hemingray,
died in Cincinnati. He was born 21 December 1854 in covington, KY and was married to
Nancy Timberlake of Newport, KY. They had two sons (Robert C. Hemingray and Conway Taylor
Hemingray) and a daughter (Susan Ashely Hemingray). Robert was Superintendent of the glass
works in Muncie.
According to the obituary of Donald A. Scotts, step-mother Alma Loucks. It state that she
had a grandson. Actually it would have been a step-grandson so Donald A. Scott, son of Sue
Ashley Hemingray _______, Scott, Starr married abt. 1928. If I'm able to find a
marriage record I can tell you what her name was at that time. Now I'm curious.
I believe you are correct and that is the Donald A. Scott who died in Florida. When I find
more information I'll let you know. Thanks for your reply. Barbara
