He was buried in Bloomington? I don't find a Parsons in Bloomington.

Damon M. Floyd, 72
Bloomington - Mr. Damon M. Floyd, 72, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away
on Wednesday, February 23, 2005 after an extended illness.
Mr. Floyd was born in Muncie, Indiana to John and Thelma (Bragg) Floyd on
December 1, 1932. Damon graduated from Muncie Central High School, worked
as an electrical consultant for 12 years. Mr. Floyd retired from the Navy
in 1972 after being for 20 years. Mr. Floyd was a member of the Moose
Lodge.
Survivors include his daughter, Tammy L. Timmons, (husband Johnny G.); of
Bayview, TX; adopted daughter, Rhonda A. Nyberg of Bacliff, TX; two
grandchildren, Wendy A. Timmons and Johnnie L. Timmons all of Bay View,
TX.
Mr. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Imogene
Corn.
Graveside services for Mr. Floyd will be at Noon Today February 24, 2005
at Matthews Cemetery in Matthews, IN. Military graveside rites will be
performed by the Delaware County Veterans Honor Guard.
Parson Mortuary is handling local arrangements.
