If you are having problems viewing documents, make sure you have your IE
Pup-Up Blocker turned off!!!!! Once I turned mine off, I had no problems
viewing documents. But the small program took about 10 minutes to download
on my dial-up connection. Then it asked me if I wanted to install.
To turn off the pop-up blocker in Internet Explorer Click on Tools,
highlight Pop-Up Blocker, then click on 'Turn Off Pop-Up Blocker'. After
you have finished viewing documents, you can turn the Pop-Up Blocker on.
Hope this helps - it worked for me

The library is working on the problem with the documents.
Some can get in others still cannot.
I have not been getting a prompt to download the viewer, and I think that
is some of the trouble. <G>
I can only get in to view the Meeks database, but only if I use the
publicmac password instead of public.
I enter the database, do a search and click on the image, it will not
load the first time, so I close the box and try to open it a second time
and the Meeks images show up.
I still cannot access the Court Records or the Obits, but I did get to
find several records from the Meeks collection.
All of you that cannot access them may try what I did and see if you can
at least access the Meeks database until they figure out what the problem is.
If you cannot view them, Instead of using public as the password, use
publicmac as the password and user name.
Here are the URL's and the information that Lynne sent to me today.
All those people on your list can go to this address to get
in:
http://www.munpl.org/lhdatabases/mainpage.htm
This will get them to the page that explains about the databases. Once
they are familiar with the databases and how to search, then all they
would need to do is go to
http://www.munpl.org/Main_Pages/genealogy.htm
There is a link on the banner of that page that says "ENTER THE
DATABASE". This will get them to the login page of the databases. Both
of these pages can be bookmarked,
You just have to remember that when we upgrade..which is only about once a
year, you would have to redo your bookmarks
Hope this helps, the Meeks records are really nice I have already found
records for 4 people that I did not have death dates for.
