First, if you are using Netscape, it won't work. (The plug-in won't
install). You must be using one of the newer versions of Internet Explorer.
Second, it appears that you may actually need a plug-in and an active-X
module.
After the plug-in installs, when you see the small folder icons, right-click
on the icon. A small pop-up window should appear with options like "Search."
[I'm not certain whether pop-up blockers might prevent the pop-up from
appearing. If you don't see the pop-up, turn off any pop-up blocker and try
again.
The first time that you actually select a document to view, the active-X
module should install. Once it has installed, you may have to re-conduct the
search.
FYI, yesterday one of the databases (the obits, if I recall correctly) was
only displaying an image that said to contact MPL, no matter which document
was selected.
I hope this helps someone...

Ok, All;
I still don't know what the secret is, but I have just spent most of an
hour
enjoying the WebXtender site for the court records, Meeks Mortuary and
obituary index.
I did the same things I have done in the past, and when I clicked on the
first name I wanted to see, the window did come up asking me if I wished
to
download the whatever. I clicked on yes, and in only a few seconds I was
on my
way.
Now, will have to wait and see if I have problems again next time I'm
online -- but I sure do have a stack of great information here I printed
out!
Thanks to the parties responsible for putting this great source up there!
