Hi Shirley,
It's been a long time since I've communicated with you - then it was the Mt
Pleasant twp Howell family. This thing about the Robinson's - can you give me
some more information about when this was? My grandfather was an orphan (?)
actually some hanky panky in the woodshed. His middle name was Robinson but
we know nothing else but suspect that might have been the father's name. He
was born in Fortville in 1858. This would be too wild to find out if there
was some connection.
My grandmother said it was Robinson BUT the census records in 1860 indicated
that it is Robertson (Robert's son?)
Have a good weekend. Micki Howell -Fackenthal
I found these two people living with my Turner's and
Ethell's.
Can anyone shed light on the "Legally" thing? Is that a surname or does it
indicate some sort of bonded person?
Legally, Eliza (don't know if the "Legally is name or represents something
else), white,
Female, age 36, Servant, born Ind, both parents
born Ohio
Robinson, Charles, white, male, age 15, Servant, apparently not attending
school,
Born, Ind, both parents born Ohio.
