Hi Everybody! I am researching the Richardsons of Delaware County.
Benjamin Richardson was born there in 1826 to Aaron Richardson.

Hi Jeanne,
I'm wondering if this is the same Aaron Richardson I read about in History of
Wayne Co, IN. Looked like he was a pioneer there and "started" the New Light
Christ Disciples/Christian Church. Sorry...my memory fails me a little here.
Also, is he the person arriving in Perry Twp in 1820 along with Cornelius
Vanarsdol? I've been interested in Richardson since reading about him
periodically in various histories and Richardson's name is mentioned in a
little story written by C VanA's granddaughter. I've always thought that
Cornelius Vanarsdol "made a stop" in Wayne Co when he moved his family from
Miami Valley area and possibly knew Richardson from there. The reason I asked
about religion: Cornelius was a preacher as soon as he arrived in Perry Twp;
I'm curious if he was a New Light. His ancestors were Reformed Dutch.
Cornelius' daughter, Mary, married my first ancestor in Indiana, William
Brown, in 1837. William Brown is shown as Rev. on his wife Mary's death
certificate. Do you know of any connection, friendship, marriage etc between
these families? Glad to see you on INDELAWARE-L!
