Regine:
While looking for something else I also found in the Muncie Phonebook,
the following information concerning the Dunkirk Area.
Dunkirk Glass Museum
309 S. Franklin St.
Dunkirk, IN (no zip code given)
765.768.6809
This museum features more that 5,000 pieces of glass-art that reflect the
region's rich heritage of glass manufacturing. Hanging lamps and
leaded-glass containers, tableware, and other novelties are on display.
Closed on Mondays, the museum is open from May until the first of
November.
If I were you, I'd try to give them a call, and write to them too. They
may have some ideas for you. It's worth a try.
Also, the Special collections area at Ball State would be a good place to
contact to see what they have.

Hi, this is my first posting on this list.
I have been researching the Belgian glass workers who settled in the area at
the turn of the century with the discovery of gas etc.
Is there someone in Muncie who knows a lot about the topic?
Any input would be appreciated.
