David...Wow! Thanks for being the kind soul! You have definitely helped
me. I believe that Arminta Ann and Sadie are sisters, until proven
otherwise.
Based on the naming patterns of the day, it seems that Arminta Ann Fuson
could very well be the daughter of Charles Fuson and Lydia "Emma" Brown -
Arminta being named for her paternal grandmother, Artaminta, aka Minta and
Artie Golden Fuson.
I know that Sadie Fuson is daughter of Charle and Emma - info from marriage
application. I have been told that they had a daughter called "Anna", who
married a Snodgrass, but I could not figure it out. However, the name
Arminta looks like my elusive "Anna".
If you wouldn't mind giving me the names of Arminta and Wm H Snodgrass'
children, their names might give additional clues. I'm going to check out
Sadie's children when I go to the Family History Center. I'd be happy to
share any info I have with you.
Emma Brown Fuson, daughter of Robert Brown and Sarah Boggs, died at age 25,
and is buried beside her father, Robert Brown, in Fairview Cemetery.
Charles married 2nd, Rilla/Rillie Miller, and they had 5 children that I
know of.
Emma is the granddaughter of my 2nd great grandfather, William Brown and his
first wife, Sela Gibson, of Monroe Twp, Del Co. Whatever that make me...LOL
Thanks again
I can be of some help since William SNODGRASS, who married Arminta
Ann FUSON, is my second cousin twice removed. I don't have any
information on Ann FUSON's siblings. This is the information I do
have:
Arminta Ann FUSON was born January 4, 1881 in Cammack, Indiana. She
died June 20, 1960. She married William Harvey Snodgrass August 4,
1898 in Delaware County, Indiana. He was born August 4, 1878 in
Delaware County, Indiana. He died August 20, 1941 at Ball Memorial
Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. They are both buried at Jones Cemetery
in Delaware County. They had five children. I have their names and
quite a few of their descendants.
Hope this helps. How are you related to Emma Brown?
Regards,
David
