IN REGARDS TO THE 1880 CENSUS, I HAVE HAD A BIG BREAKTHROUGH BY USING THE
NEW 1880 INDEX FOUND AT THE LDS FAMILY HISTORY CENTER. GOOD LUCK. DONNA
FROM MUNCIE-LIVING IN HUNTINGTON, IN.

Subject: [INDELAWA-L] 1880 Census?
Does anyone have a copy of the 1880 index? I'm trying to
find what
page Otto M Sharp would be listed on and in what township.
I have access to Ancestry's images, but cannot find an 1880 index
anywhere. Takes forever browsing one page at a time, especially if you
don't
know where he was living at the time.
I do know he didn't marry until 1881, but I saw where he was
teaching
in New Corner (Gaston) in 1880, but cannot find him in the census in
that
township anywhere. He's hiding!
Sincerely,
Marilyn Barber
