According to a note that I found in a Sayre History about Finley Addison Sayre and Anna
Belle Wright Sayre who was born 1873 and died in 1946 was the information they were buried
in the Jones Cemetery. The Sayres had children Howard, Homer, Hobart, Dorsia Isabelle,
Hazel, Grace Ina, Lafayette, Jerome "Jay", Floyd whom they called
"Fred" and Alberta. Also it is believed Annie's mother, Isabelle Wright, was
living with the Sayres in 1930 in Indiana.
My notes indicate that Alberta who was born in 1873 and died in 1959 is buried in the
Otterbein Cemetery, Evans, West Virginia. She was married to Austin Shinn on Dec. 23, 1896
who was born in 1867 and died in 1945. At one time the Wright family lived on Cow Run in
Mason-Jackson County, West Virginia. My question -- are there any records indicating that
the Sayres are buried in the Jones Cemetery, Delaware County, Indiana?
