Message Board Post:
I would like to search Muncie newspapers from the 1928 to 1930 time period. Looking for a
clue as to who the mother was of a two month old infant boy who was made a ward of the
Board of Childrens Guardians in Muncie in 1928. Court records say the child was neglected
and abused. The court records in Muncie name the child but not the mother. The child was
later adopted and he was never able to find out who his birth mother was.
I am hoping that there may have been a newspaper article in 1928 about a neglected and
abused infant boy being removed from a home in Muncie.
So where in Muncie is the best place to find newspaper archives?
