Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Hi All,
Thanks for the kind words everyone.
It appears that it will take awhile to get everything changed around. I will
do it in spurts.
In the meantime, I have updated the search engine. It appears to be working
now.
I am also going to start entering some records. I have many vital records
from Delaware County.
Again thanks,
Shawn Gray
PS I am also the moderator for the list again also. So that is taken care
of.

List,
Some of you may know me but many of you don't, my name is Shawn GRAY and I
was the original GenWeb administrator for Delaware County back in the early
90's. About 1999, after divorce and the death of my father, I gave it all
up.
I talked to Debra last night and decided to adopt Delaware County again. Now
for those of you that do not know me, I will introduce myself.
I have been researching my family, and other's families, for about 20
years.
I worked at the Ball State Archives for 4 years and worked on helping
researchers find information about their ancestors.
My ancestors settled in Delaware County, primarily Mt Pleasant and Salem Twp
in the 1820's.
I still reside in Delaware County and teach at a local school and at Ivy
Tech.
My ancestors are as follows: YINGLING, STEWART, WATKINS, HARDWICK, MCCUNE,
MOORE, CARPENTER, FERGUSON, and JONES.
I will be working on giving the website a facelift over the next few weeks.
I welcome and covet any and all records on Delaware County that you would
like to submit.
Thanks and if you have any questions or comments, please let me know.

Janni is right. The search tool isn’t working but everything else seems to be so you can still search manually.
I’m pretty sure Deb will be looking for someone to take over the website and/or list so search your souls. *smile*

Our site doesn't have an administrator right now and our list doesn't have a
moderator. Debbie is working on that. I'll check out the search to see if
I can get it.
