Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Below is a note I have been attempting to send you since March 2003. Maybe I will be lucky this time. I certainly admire the research you have done and what you have contributed to the web.

ORIGINAL MESSAGE
Dear Ms Runyon-Bragg
Two nights ago as I was sitting in front of my computer in my bunny slippers, I ran across information you submitted on Mansfields that were in Butler County Ohio and Delaware County Indiana. Today as I sit in front of my computer in my bare feet, I can not find the web site. I can find you associated with other web sites, including Delaware Co Indiana which is where I should have found you in the 1st place but I can not find the site I want. So...will you please give me the address. I am decended from the James Mansfield and Mary Andrews line and noted some errors in the information on their daughter-in-law Nancy Kennedy which I can correct if you are interested. But my primary reason for contacting you it that I was very interested in the information you have on the marriage of Charles Mansfield and Rebecca Crum. I have the 1786 date which I have always felt was incorrect for the reasons you cite and also because when the story of Johnny Crum's abduction by the
Indians is told, Rebecca is referred to as Rebecca Crum, not as Rebecca Crum Mansfield. This ommission and the birth dates of her known children leads me to believe that the Crums may have come to Butler (Hamilton) county prior to the Mansfields and the marriage of Rebecca and Charles may have been in Ohio and not Pennsylvania. Anyway that is supposition not fact. So in addition to the internet address for your Mansfield/Crum site, may I have the source for your later marriage year.
Sincerely
Carleen Foster cjtf(a)pacbell.net

These families came from Guilford and Randolph Counties in NC to IN 1820's ,
In Indiana they were in Randolph Co. IN, Delaware Co. IN, and Starke Co. IN (not necessary in that order) before they settled in Miami Co.
Have info to share with family members.
