I am looking for any descendants of the Osborn/Osborne family that came to
Delaware county from Owen County, Ky. There was a Robert Osborn who was the
son of Susan Hammond Osborn Dearinger who was the brother of my great
grandfather, George R. Hammond. I would love to know what happened to their
parents, where and when they died. Any clues would be greatly appreciated.

Hi All.
Hi All. School's out. No more teaching until August 22nd, 2001.
I have been looking for a way to decrease the price of the History Book.
I don't print them anymore. I sold my copier....
I am looking into making it available Spiral Bound. This will drop the
price at least $10.00.
I will let everyone know if I do this.
I also have 2 other publications that I will make available Spiral
Bound.
1- They are "Those Who Went Before" The Delaware County Cemetery Index
Book One.. During 1992-1995, I took all the available indexes for the
Delaware County Cemeteries and went out to update them and check for
errors. I did this with every cemetery, but Beech Grove, Elm Ridge, and
Gardens of Memory.
In addition to stone reading, I was able to get some interrment records
for some cemeteries. This contains over 25000 stones complete with Name,
Birthdate, Death Date, and where they are buried.
2- 1870 Delaware County Census...I took the microfilm and transcribed it
completely. I put in everything that was on each sheet. This book is
indexed by everyname and in the index shows the twp they were in .
If you are interested in any of these publications, please drop me a
line at octk(a)home.com

Does anyone have information as to the newspapers I would possibly be able to
get obituaries for Thales D. Morrison died 5 July 1942 in Yorktown and for
his wife Cordella (Cordellia) Morrison died 3 May 1957 in Yorktown.
Any help would be appreciated as they raised their grandson and he is getting
up in years (born 1913) and I am helping him trace his family.
Thanks in advance,
Patricia Stuart
Hi
Archibald and Rhoda McCLAIN died in Delaware Co. in in the early 1850s.
Archibald died on 05 Apr 1851 and Rhoda died on 02 Sep 1853 at Union
Township. Both are buried at the Ashenfelter Cemetery. My question is this.
Would there be a newspaper that would cover that area? If so, what are the
chances of an Obit? Also, does death certificates exist for that time
period for Delaware Co.?
Thanks gang.

Hello list!
Is there anyone who could do a lookup for me, or has access to marriage
records for Delaware county marriages 1903. This is what I need.
Arnett Bice married Jacob Hinty 29 Dec. 1903. The record is in Delaware
County Marriages 1827-1920, Vol. I A-F, record or page # C15.
I am interested in all the additional information this may provide. Thank
you very much. If no one has it will you please give me the address and
phone # for the Delaware County Clerk, so I may send for it - the cost if you
know it also. Thanks once again!!
