Well, I hope this helps some of you who are looking in this time frame. I
thought this site was very informing. Good Luck.

Does any one have a copy of the Spring 2000 issue of the Del. Cty
Genealogist & Historian? I found a listing in another issue of ancestors
(surname Allison) in this issue, page 19. I'm trying to get some idea of
what the content is before I go to the effort to buy a copy or get through
interlibrary loan somewhere. If someone could tell me what is on this page
(titles of articles, etc.) I would appreciate it greatly. Thanks for your
help!

Jeff,
I just wanted to let you know that I did contact Beech Grove Cemetery.
They found 7 of my family members listed buried in their cemetery. They
are mailing the information to me, they were so nice and very helpful.
Thank you so much for telling me to contact them to see if they could
help, I probably would not found them if I did not take your advice.

Hi again everyone,
I received a call this a.m. that gave me a few details that I had been missing on the Charles Jones I am seeking info on...one item, being that I had his birthdate wrong...
here is the updated info...
Charles R. JONES
b. June 1918 (not 1913)
Wife's name: Elizabeth
Father's name: Martin JONES
He had 3 (or more) children
He was working at Warner Gear (now BorgWarner) in 1942-1945 (or longer)
The person that provided me with this info, also said that during the early 40's Warner would bus workers up from Jamestown Tennessee, to work at the plant--returning them to TN on the weekends...has anyone ever heard of this?
Thanks to all :o)

Jeff , all but the most recent burials are on floyds site Both
Eaton Indiana
Cemeterys are on it . Do a surname search then it tells you what cem it is
in.
The old cem in eaton is called the Eaton Cem. The newer one is Union
but is allso part of a much older one called Dunkard or German Baptist or
Old Studebaker after the family who owned the farm it is located on If
your gr grandmother is buried around eaton she should be listed in that
floyds website.

Mike not a problem I live 13 miles west of Muncie, and just moved back here
after being away for 10 years living in Ohio. So know what you mean. (But I
also grew up here so know the area pretty good.) Good Luck.
Donata
Mike have your tried contacting Bob Smith who is the caretaker of Jones Cmty.
He has all the cemetery books. He's a super nice guy. If you have not talked
to him. (I will look up his phone number and you could see what kind of help
he might be.) For obituary's you should contact the Downtown branch of the
Muncie Public Lib. they have Obituaries micro filmed and indexed.
Hope this helps!
