Hi Shawn,
I was wondering about you last week....wondering how you were and if you are
still working on genealogy and are you going to bring out the second Delaware
County book?
I'm not sure if you know that we moved or not.......we moved to Central
Florida in July 1999. The place in Brown County got to be more work than
pleasure.
Hope all is well with you.

Hello,
I am in the process of adding the 1870 US Federal Census Schedule-
"PLEASE READ THIS WHOLE EMAIL" before viewing them, because other than
what is shown here, "I DO NOT" have any further information
on the records that are added.
Included in this census.....Name of Head of Household (not the whole
family), Age, Sex, Race, Birthplace, Locality, and County, Film Number,
Page Reference. In Addition to head of household, others listed are any
person living in same household under a different surname, all females
70 or over & all males 50 or over. I have finished the names listed A
through F, and will add the rest as time permits, so please check back
often. I will also be adding the 1920 Orphans home census records
sometime soon! ALSO, I am in serious need of the FA #216- Death Records
for Delaware Co 1882-1920, if you can help i sure would truly appreciate
it.
Thanks Kelly

Shirley~I read your note to Shawn, and saw that you are researching the
Stewart Family from Delaware County, IN.
I also have Stewart's in my family from Delaware. Druisella Steward married
Daniel Foley, and they had several children born in Yourktown, Delaware, IN.
Druisella's father's name was Marvin Stewart.
Any connection?

Hi Of course it has those families. <smile> Plus I have the pix that lady sent
me you told me about.
There are several stories about your lines.
Have you found out anything more about them?
Thanks
Shawn
Hi The CDROM is $30 plus $5 shipping and handling.
It is Book One and covers Salem, Mt. Pleasant, Harrison, and Washington Twp.
It was published in 1998 and has hundreds of family stories, and other stories
and comes with pictures. It is in several formats, so it will work on virtually
any computer.
If you have any additional questions, please let me know.

Shawn~
I use to be in contact with you on the FOLEY/PARKS/HOLLINGSWORTH families of
mine.
I wondered where you were, the old address that I had for you didn't work.
Good seeing your name pop up again.
Do you have any of my names in your CD ? Also Stewart would be in the list
too.
I would be interested in your CD if there's information there on my line
of people (selfish huh?)
Will wait to hear from you..
Thanks

Hi Jill
Sorry i didn't get back to you sooner but here is what i found on Daisy
Heath. Its not alot but its a start. These came from the Delaware County
marriage records for 1921-1926. Kelly

Daisy Heath, b. Nov 26, 1889
They were married March 1, 1922 Delaware Co~

Kelly,
Thankyou again for your help. I checked with a cousin in Arizona, and the
dates you gave me seem to fit the time line. She had forgotten about that
cemetary though. Silas probably is related to Ralph ( if he is the one I'm
thinking of, my gggrandmother Angeline is his niece, through his brother
Robert Heath Sr.
Jill
Jill,
If a link is ever found from Silas to Ralph Heath who was born abt. 1792 North
Carolina - died May 14, 1861 in Delaware Co, i can help you further with this
line but you really need to get ahold of a death cert, or obituaries, etc.. to
verify Silas and Amanda as Mabels parents just to make sure they are the correct
ones. I had some Heath data stuffed back in my files and that was part of it,
and i do not know where that info came from. I have two sons born to Silas and
Amanda. (1) William S Heath, b. July 14 1884 - married on Dec 11 1906 in Delaware
Co to Josephine Fleming b. Jan 6, 1883. Josephine was the daughter of
Eugene & Martha M (Smith) Fleming. (2) Arthur Heath, b. Aprl 22 1886 (don't know
anything else about him) In the Cemetery Records located on Damon Floyds website
there are two other females buried in the Sunderland Cemetery. (1) Juanita Heath
1907-1949 (2) Pearl Heath 10/27/1893 (don't know if this is a birth or death
date for Pearl)
I don't know who the two women are, but my guess is that they are somehow
"probably" connected. Silas, Amanda, Mabel, Pearl and Juanita are the only
Heath's shown buried in this cemetery.
I hope this helps a little more.
Kelly
Thanks Sue,
I believe that she is related to a Ralph Heath, but not sure which one
(probably all of them since the Heath's are a big family). The only things I
know about her, is that she had an older sister named Daisy ( who was married
to a Frank Pearce ), and that she was her parents primary caregiver, at the
time of her death ( by her own hand, to put it nicely.)
By any chance did your Ralph Heath, have a brother named Robert Heath, Sr.?
Robert is my 4th ggrandfather through his daughter Angeline & her 2nd
husband, Charles Cooper.
Don't worry, I'm in no hurry for the answers.
Thanks,
Jill
Hi everyone,
My name is Jill Cooper Childress. I was on the list several months ago, but
have changed servers, and working on several new lines of the Cooper ffamily
which have kept me busy.
I was wondering if someone could please do a look up for me. I'm looking for
ANY information on a Mabel Heath who died around 1927, while she was in her
twenties.
She supposedly lived in Daleville, with her parents at the time of her death
( supposedly in June of that year).
I would appreciate any help as I have hit "the brick wall" on this one.
Thanks everyone,
Jill
Hopefully some of these names may have turned up in a TURNER searchers
family:
Searching for Isaac TURNER (de la TOURNEUR) b 1788 Paris, FR d 1867 Wayne
Co., PA. He served in the War of 1812, enlisting in Mamaroneck, Westchester
Co., NY. Isaac m Nancy KELLEY in 1848 after he stopped at her farm in Wayne
Co., PA and worked for her. Isaac was 34 yrs. older than Nancy.
They had 8 children:
Mathilda who was a post mistress for NayAug, PA and never married b 1849
John Milton m ? DEPEW had 9 children incl. 2 sets of twins
Franklyn Varney m Carolena Augusta MEYER
Mary Angeline
James Buchanan
Rosilla Correll m 1- LOCKARD 2- HAUSER
Elma Martha b 1864 m 1- DENISON 2- BIRD
Elmer Marcus (last 2 were twins) b 1864
Family lore says Isaac 'came from the Middle West' when he stopped at
Nancy's farm and that he had been married twice before. Nothing is know of
these marriages but he had children from them. I don't know if 'the Middle
West' means western PA or 'West' possibly Indiana.
In the 1850 Wayne Co., PA census a John TURNER is shown living next door
to Isaac/Nancy. His children were: Maria, George and Milton - twins;
Victoria and Virginia, and Henry. Since the name MILTON shows up in the
children with Nancy plus twins in each family (this also carried into the
next generation), I feel this John was an earlier son of Isaac.
Is anyone out there missing an ISAAC TURNER - father, grandfather, etc????
Diane
