If somebody (a female) applies for a marriage record (in 1938)
and did not use their correct surname or name from a previous marriage
for some reason or another, would this person still be legally married
under that false name?
Thanks!

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could be so kind as to check the
1860 census for Delaware Co. - Salem Twnshp - p. 529 for Solomon SKINNER. I
need his birth year and state. I live out of the country right now and can
use all the help I can get ;)
Also if anyone is working on this line I need to see if I am on a wild goose
chase.

Good morning everyone:
I'm back from my trip to Muncie.
The Carnegie Librairy has telephone books between 1944 and 1978. I didn't see any in the Historical Alliance but will ask Jackie by e-mail. I didn't get to Bracken but did get to spend a lot of time at the Ball Memorial Hospital with an 85 year old relative who broke her leg in the area of her knee replacement.
Good to be back.
Sybil
I'm still looking for Floyd Riley Montgomery b. 1882 in IN; married Ethel Anna Hayden in 1904 in Delaware County, IN.
Any help would be appreciated.
Sybil
Hello,
I just added 14 more pictures to the website, compliments of Marilyn
Barber. Most of these are group class photo's from Daleville, ranging
from kindergarten-1928 to class of 1942. Also of the Daleville Broncos-
1939 - 1941. Great photo's, thank you Marilyn!!!!

My brother-in-law worked at Owens Illinois Glass in the late 40's. Perhaps
Bracken has city directories dating back far enough to determine when
Hemingray was "out of the picture" (pun intended).
