thought I'd post again for any new list members out there:
I am researching the family of AARON RICHARDSON. He came to Delaware Co.
c1820 and was one of the first settlers. I am having trouble tracing the
line back from him, and am interested in any info or correspondence with
other descendants of Aaron or his brother, Daniel.
Aaron m.Elizabeth Shaw in Wayne Co., IN in 1817. Their children were:
Angeline
Mary
Scott (later Rev. of Blackford Co. I have found some descendants of
Scott.
They are having the same troubles I am!)
Daniel Thompson
Benjamin Franklin
Harriet
Thomas Jefferson
Jonathan Shaw
Joshua
I still have hope to make connection!

I have the Portrail & Biographical record of Delaware County IN. book
that I brought from the Historical Alliance but it has no date of
publication. What is differts between this and the New History of Delaware
County? Could someone do a look up in the New History of Delaware County
for Maynard and Jefferson? Thanks for the help. I live out of state and
don't get to Muncie very often any more.

My great-grandfather was Matson Shaw that married Marguerite Cox. I don't
have much association with that branch of my family, so I can't even give
you the dates. They are both buried at Beech Grove, and the office there
could supply you with the birth and death dates if you're interested.

Hi everyone a few of you have emailed about me sending you a copy of
these, I will do so but I have had two medical emergancy's today. 1st
off my family called this morning at 5:30 a.m. saying they were on the
way to the hospital with my grandmother who suffered in March a SERIOUS
heart attack (we about lost her) she is 91 and will be 92 in July. Well
I rushed out of here with my 6yr old son got to the hospital while
waiting in the emergancy room I had gone to get us some breakfast came
back and found my mother-in-law sitting there they had admitted my
sister-in-law who had been sick for a couple of weeks, well they sent my
grandmother home around 1:30 today and ended up keeping my sister-in-law
they have diagnosed her with Crohn's desease. Then around 1:30 was
leaving the emergancy room to up to my sister-in-laws room to see how
she was and seen a 2nd cousin of mine I grew up with and she had her 1
week old son in there for xrays he can not keep anything down.
YIKES...Needless to say today is not what I had expected it to be.The
Families are falling apart all at once here. At any rate give me a few
days here. Cause I need to dig out these 2 maps plus all this other
stuff going on. I'm really sorry for the delay but will get them to all
who requested them as quick as I can.
Sincerely,
Donata

I have a map of the cemetery I could scan it and send it to any of you
that want it. Let me know if anyone needs it (it's a basic map that they
give you if you go there) I also have one for Gardens of Memory.

Hi Norma,
Thanks for looking for me. Let me know who your Gilliland is and I will see
if I have anything. I am stuck at my GG grandfather James Gilland (I have
seen his last name spelled about 4 different ways.) I do know that he came
from Grant County.
I am back to my GG grandfather James William Sheppard on that side of the
family and that is where I am stuck at now. I think James Sheppard may have
came from Randolph County.
Anyway I want to thank you for looking for me again.
Linda
Stacee, I did lookup your Cotton`,Outland` and Cotman. There was none
listed.
Sorry I couldn`t help you .

There is an index for Beech Grove. It doesn't, however, contain everything.
Your best bet might be to 'phone the cemetery office at 765.741.1352. They
are very helpful and could send you a map and everything.

Hi Sandy,
I also live out of state, but if i'm not mistaken i think there was a book
published on the persons buried in Beech Grove Cemetery. This is where about 95%
of my Delaware families are buried. Maybe somebody on the list can verify if
this book exist or not. I am not sure about the other two cemeteries. Sorry i
could not be of more help.
