I saw the inquiry below in the Archives. Here's the answer to the
questios. I believe that microfilm copies of all of these History Books
can be ordered from:
American Genealogical Lending Library
PO Box 329
Bountiful, UT 84011-0329
801-298-5446
I also recommend that you order microfilm copies to the WPA Indices of
Delaware Co. records. The microfilm copies are relatively inexpensive..
You might also be interested in ordering microfilm copies of census
records.

hi there,
I would like to know if anyone on the list has heard of any VERONAs living in
Delaware County? My great grandfather John Phillip VERONA had a brother
or cousin named Phillip VERONA, who moved around from Blackford -> Grant
county, and then into Delaware County around 1902. We lost track of Phillip
VERONA after 1902.
John and his brother Phillip were Belgian glassworker immigrants, and could
not speak/read/write english well (just French), so their names were spelled
differently in various Indiana documents/newspapers, e.g., my g. grandfather's
name has been spelled VERONA, VERONAI, VERONI, VERONIE, VARONEY,
VERONE, VEROME, etc.
Please let me know if you have heard of any VERONAs living in or around
Delaware Co. I am hoping to find living descendants of my g. grandfather's
bro. thanks, Matt Verona, Houston Texas e-mail:mtverona@flash.net

Hi - I am new to the list. Hoping there are others researching the
Harrold family.
William Harrold - Thomas Johnson families moved from
VA and NC to Henry County around 1820. Some decendents may still live in
this area.
I was wondering where you got the information on Valentine Gibson and
Catherine Harrold being married in Tenn? They are my ancestor's as well as
Brown's from Delaware County, Indiana.

I am looking for any information on William and Margaret Ann Roberts of
Washington Township, Delaware County. They gave their permission for their
daughter, Margaret [Maggie] to marry Samuel VanNatter 29 July 1877. Their
names are both handwritten on the slip. Apparently, the girl was below the
legal marrying age of 16.
Samuel VanNatter and Margaret Roberts VanNatter are the parents of Mary Jane
VanNatter, who married Spencer VanNatter.
There are several variations in spelling. Any help appreciated!

I am looking for any information on the Vannatters that settled in
Washington Township around Gaston and Wheeling. Any information would be
greatly appreciated. I have some info already, but I'm having a hard time
connecting everyone.
Thanks.

I'm looking for info on Isaac DRAKE and his wife Elizabeth (CLOUD) who
lived in the Muncie area at the time of the 1860 census. Two of their sons,
Lafayette & Dillard were still in the area on the 1870 census. I think
Elizabeth died between 1860 - 1863. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for the parentage of Clarissa Russel who married James
Vannatter. James was b. September 1844. They had at least three children:
Abraham b. 1871 in Pickaway County, OH
Spencer b. 1870s in Delaware County, IN
Nettie b. in Delaware County, IN
I don't know much about Clarissa besides. I believe she is buried at
Wheeling Cemetery alongside some other Vannatters, but I cannot find a death
date at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
