Hi Roberta,
I can help you! Charles is my great grandfather's brother. I have a huge amount of
information, including LOTS of pictures. I would be delighted to share them with you!
Charles parents were George D. Abel and Sally Ann (Sarah) Milliman Abel. Their children
were Wallace Emery, Charles Warren, John Calhoun Fremont, Delano (whom I have no
information on) and Electa Ann (Kit) Abel Benjamin. George D. Abel's father was
George Homer Abel and his mother was Electa Hadsell. George Homer's father was Daniel
Abel or Abell and his wife was Sally Root.
Do you have a subscription to Ancestry.com? There is a lot of information there, but
I'd be happy to send you what I have.
I've included pictures. The first one is:
George D. Abel and Sally Ann Milliman Abel
The second one is:
Aunt Kit, (Electa Ann Abel Benjamin)
The last one is my great grandfather, Wallace E. Abel and my great grandmother, Louisa
Antoinette Coburn Abel.
I have more pictures but I haven't scanned them yet. When I get more done,I'll
send them to you. If you care to send me your snail mail address, I can mail you
information. This is so exciting! I love when I can make a connection with someone in the
family!
Take care,
Yours on Christ,
Debbie

Hi Debbie,
Yes, Charles middle name is Warren but I do not know who his parents were.
All I know about Charles at this time is he married Emma J, Scholes 11 May
1873 in DeKalb County and Emma was the daughter of Nelson Scholes and Mary
Ann Swaidner. I just learned who Emma married two days ago and haven't
checked them out yet. Was hoping someone could give me the names of their
children. Thanks for answering my post.
