I've "rescued" an old photograph of Homer OSWALT which was taken at the E.
J. Potter Studio in Mansfield, Ohio. The photograph appears to have been
taken in the 1880's with Home just an infant at the time. Based on limited
research I was able to locate the following information regarding Homer and
his family:
Homer Benson OSWALT b. 1 Sept 1889 in Monroe, OH to parents John J. OSWALT
and Mary Elizabeth HOMER (b. 28 Nov 1855 in Shreve, OH), married Mattie M.
SMITH (b. 25 Sept 1888 in Speuerville, IN - daughter of James H. SMITH &
Sarah MOSER) on 4 Nov 1911 in Lucas, OH and together they had 3 children
including, Gilbert W. "Bib"; Harold J.; and John L. OSWALT all born in
Richland and Ashland Counties, OH between 1914 and 1921.
