Well my Fair's crossed the Ohio/Indiana border and headed north a bit. They
were in Miami and Montgomery Counties. Peter was one of the original
pioneers of DeKalb Co. and was the first Commissioner. The
Zerfus/Surfas/Surface family is connected also with mine. I hope to locate
more researching theses families. Henry Fair is said to have died along the
trail to Oregon from Cholera. Some say he was buried near the fork of the
North Platte River. Henry and his half-brother Peter were leading a Wagon
Trail, Peter continued and I would like to learn more about these two
brothers..
