Hi listers,
Is there anyone researching the Chapman family in Dekalb county? My family
has been all over that area over the last 200 years. I would like to hear
from anyone that has researched the name or related to the Chapmans.

Subject: [INDEKALB-L] Hello From Dan Terry
Content-Type: text/plain;
charset="iso-8859-1"
Greetings All,
I wanted to say hello as I take over the reins from Eliza Lucy Funk and Cheryl
Milukas as the County Coordinator for the DeKalb County, Indiana USGenWeb
Project.
In a recent email to Gene Andert, State Coordinator of the Indiana USGenWeb
Project, I said that visitors to the DeKalb County GenWeb page are indebted to
Lucy, Cheryl, Arlene Goodwin, and the many other volunteers. They have
researched and contributed the large amount of information posted so far. We all
have benefited from their hard work and the generous sharing of their research
efforts.
As Lucy requested in a previous message, please send me an email to
dangen(a)attbi.com if you have any research material you wish to share with the
DeKalb County GenWeb page. It will be posted it in a timely manner.
I am honored by this opportunity to serve the DeKalb County, Indiana
genealogical community. I look forward to hearing from everyone so please share
your thoughts and comments, ask your questions, and make your suggestions.
Together, we can anticipate a successful partnership, based on the common goal
of sharing genealogical research for the benefit of all who visit the DeKalb
County GenWeb site.
Best regards,
Dan Terry
County Coordinator
DeKalb County, Indiana USGenWeb Project
