I have a (1) Hannah HUMBERT, b 10 Jun 1820; father, Wm. HUMBERT, mother Elizabeth.
Hannah was a twin to (2) George. Other children were (3) Jacob, b 23 Feb 1810,
(4) Susana, b 22 Jan 1812, (5) John, b 22 Dec 1814, (6) Elizabeth, b 23 Apr 1816, (7)
William, b 24 May 1818, and, (8) Margaret, b 180?. "All children baptized 2 May 1829
at St. Jacob's Church, Stark Co., Ohio --sponsors were parents; William and his second
wife, Catherine. Margaret is listed as "grown" at time of her baptism."
William owned land in Jackson Twp. by 1827. Children by wife #2 were (1) Sarah Adeline, b
30 Dec 1834, Stark Co., OH, (2) Manias, b 4 Dec 1836, Stark Co., OH, (3) Julann, b 13 May
1829, Stark Co., OH.
Wm. MAY be related to George HUMBERT, m Margaretha (Reformed Communicant 18 Oct 1829,
J. W. HAMM Minister). Children: (1) Eliza Catherine, b 13 Sep 1845, Stark Co., OH, (2)
Daniel, b 8 Oct 1847, Stark Co., OH.

Just a hunch but I think your HUBERTs came from Maryland.
Perhaps Hannah married a HUBLER, had Oliver, first husband died so she re-married a
PUTT, Oliver goes by PUTT because that's who raised him but for the government he went
by his legal surname of HUBLER.
