How excited I am and look forward to opportunity to not only to access
records from this building but contribution I have along the way. I don't
live in DeKalb Co. but my father's family of Watson came to DeKalb Co. in
1837 and I have always felt this attachment to the county. Thanks hardly
seems enough to all the people supporting this wonderful building full of
opportunity. Patricia Watson Dyson

Subject: [INDEKALB-L] Coming in DeKalb County
We invite you to review the Auburn Evening Star, Area News for DeKalb
County. From
our Web page, you can click on "Auburn Evening Star" at the
bottom of the page either click on Home Page or Area News and then on
DeKalb.
We are excited at what is happening in our area. This new building and
since there
will be a Professional Genealogist in charge, it should be
"great." Please note that Curt Witcher of the Allen County Library
(Genealogy section) is working closely with the development of the building.
We are excited that our area genealogy can be preserved and that those who
donate
material will find a secure place for their family history.
Cheryl and Lucy
