Betty,
John G. Clark, Jr. married my "aunt" in 1846 in DeKalb Co. They are in the
1850 census there, but in 1860 they were in Houston Co., MN. Then I have
lost them. I am trying to find any of their descendants. I know that when
I found John Jr. in DeKalb Co. in 1850, John Sr. was close by. -------- I
sent a message on Daniel Rhodes a few minutes ago. I had your message and
another one asking about my Rhodes, so I did not specifically answer you.
You should be able to identify it by the subject. -- Alice

Good to hear from you. CLARK (I don't even have a first name) was
Margaret TINDALL-LAKEs (1834-1916) second husband. Her first husband was
Lucius Nelson LAKE 1827-1910. They lived in De Kalb Co IN and had 10
children, the last b 1878. Margaret's bro William C TINDALL 1826-1887 m
in 1852 to Mary Ellen RHODES whose parents were Jeremiah RHODES (b 1807)
and Ann FLEMING. Perhaps Mary Ellen descends from one of Daniel's
children? None of this is proven and has been gleaned from various
sources. Happy Hunting.

Do you have a John G. Clark, Sr., and John G. Clark, Jr.? Both were in
DeKalb Co. where John Jr. married April 8, 1846. He was born about 1820.
