Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Hi List type folks,
I am planning a little day trip to the Corunna-Kendalville area for next
wednesday and was looking for places to stop and research other than the
Corunna Cemetery which I am also hoping someone can give me directions
to :). I'm coming from Chicago so any tips would be appreciated.

Are we seeking State wide Index to the Census, or only DeKalb County?

Hi Debbie,
To the best of my knowledge the latest index is the 1870. If you find
any later please let me know.

Hudson is west of Ashley, on sr4, then north over RR tracks. It is just of
US6, north of Waterloo. Hudson is a little town where my daughter and her
family live. I graduated from Ashley in the early 60's. There's probably a
1/2 mi between Ashley and Hudson. Angola is north of those two towns about
10 miles. Hope this has helped. SKRobbins(a)kconline.com

Hi Debbie,
Hudson is in Steuden County. When exiting the I-69 freeway the exit is
called Ashley - Hudson. They are both on the Steuben - Dekalb County border.
Now they form one community and if you are looking for someone there you
would be wise to check both counties records.
Steve
Hudson is in Salem Tp., Steuben Co and I believe part of it is in Steuben Tp.
Someone please correct me if I am wrong about Steuben Tp.
You might want to know there is an excellant site that will help you locate
