Hi Dan
I am just beginning to gather information on
the miller surname. My Great Grandfather's
name is G.Wilson Miller, born 1849 died 1933.
I'm not to sure where he originated from but
he lived in Defiance with his wife until she died
during child birth in 1887 and she was buried in Newville cemetery. He
eventually joined her there. Would you happen to have any info on
G.W. ?
Thanks
Steve
The 1840 census is on the DeKalb web page. Arlene

Anyone doing Miller research on Miller, 3 families lived next to each other
in the 1850 census: Michael, John, George, all Miller. Anyone know if they
were related. Michael was about 50 years old, the others were in their 20s.
They might be his sons, but the list of children I know of: Minerva, Sarah,
Sabia, Mary Ann, Matilda, David and Jacob (Jacob is my direct line)
Thanks,
Dan Fetters

Looking for information on John and Susannah Fetter who arrived in Concord, IN around 1850. They were married in Berkeley County, WV in 1828. Their children included Susanna, Mary Ann, (both married Layman brothers,- Henry and Philip), Sam and Henry who married Sarah Dragoo. Susannah was Keesecker before marriage, she married again after John left or died. But no more children. Looking for her grave stone which may be in Concord or St. Joe.
Any information would be welcome on any of this family.
