Russell,
My 4th great grandfather Samuel Daniel STOGSDILL Baptist MG organized
Baptist Churchs in Indiana.
He organized and was the first minister of the Mt. Moriah Baptist in Decatur
Co, Indiana.
He is buried in the Mt Moriah Baptist Church cemetery with his wife
Henrietta Jane (MASSEY STOGSDILL and his mother-in-law Catherine (BARRIER)
MASSEY.

I visited the cemetery and the newer church about 10 years ago.
It is a beautiful area.
I would enjoy hearing from anyone having any related surnames information
about the STOGSDILL, MASSEY and BARRIER or other surnames who married into
the family.
Beverly

Wayne, the Indiana room at the Greensburg Library, is very well taken
care
of, and we have a lot of new material. So if you send it to the Greensburg
Library attention to Russell Wilhoit, I will make sure it is put in the
right place, and if some belongs in the Historical Society Archive room at
our local museum, This I can do also. Since I am the County Historian and
County Genealogist,

I may be sending some pictures and other materials to the Local History
Room
in the Greensburg or Decatur Co. Library (Which is it?). Can someone tell
me what it is like, how well they index and treat photos, photo books,
papers, etc.
What is the Indiana State Archive or library that is interested in local
and
genealogical material?
I hope this question is not out of order-I have never seen any rules about
using these lists.
