Subject: [INDECATU] Rose Gay Glaze
I sent the following request to the Marion County, IN and
Franklin County lists also. Perhaps someone in Decatur
County may have some knowledge of Rose Gay Glaze.
I am a newcomer to this list and hope that someone can help me
find an answer to a mystery I have wondered about for years
and years.
In 1914 My uncle, Fred Ridout, was engaged to Rose Gay Glaze.
I have an address for her in that year as:? 825 Eugene Street,
Indianapolis, Indiana. In a March 1913 letter the address was:
1409 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana.
In January 1914 Fred moved to Lewistown, Montana to work with his
father,
Charles H. Ridout, in electrifying the Milwaukee Railroad.
However, in March he suffered a fatal gunshot accident.? He was
19-1/2 years old.? He is buried in Lewistown.
According to old letters Rose was broken-hearted.? I would like to
find out if she ever married, and if so, when and to whom. When did she
die?? I would guess that she would have been about the same age
as Fred.? I do not know the names of her parents or any siblings.
