Your CD is in our mail box by the curb ready to go out. I may not have
checked all of them to be sure they recorded OK, so if there is a problem let me know.
One person offered to pay. I offered these free. If you would feel better
covering the cost put a dollar (a check would cost more to process than its value) in an
envelope and mail to me-the CDs cost about a quarter in bulk, the postage is inflated far
above what Candas paid in 1900. A two dollar bill would include paper and computer time,
but I did offer free in good faith.
One way you really can help me is share any information you have about these
things in Greensburg, do you know of anyone who worked there, the years of operation,
anything else interesting.
Decatur County Independent Telephone Company or whoever took over. My daddy,
Arthur Woodward, was superintendent.
Citizen National Bank, Greensburg where Charles William Woodward was cashier.
Greensburg Woolen Mills, where Charles William Woodward was book keeper.
The harness and/ or carriage trade where my great grandfather worked.
The interurban and the railroad(s) that served Greensburg from 1900 or before
until about 1930. When did the interurban stop? Was their passenger service until AMTRAC
took over?
One more thing. I would really like to hear if find anyone interesting to you
or have any comments or reactions to the photos.

To Archives and interested persons:
I will be glad to send free a small CD with images of 15 pages of pictures
from Candas Woodward's picture album with a document of explanation. Some
pages have up to four pictures. It generally covers 1898 to 1902. Most of
the pictures are from in or around Greensburg, Decatur County, Indiana.
Besides Coy or Woodward family members there are about 18 people (many
named), plus a picture of 19 children at a creek in House's Woods sw. of
Greensburg. There is a picture of 6 children of the colored church of
Greensburg. There is also one, with people, of the: East End and West End
Schools. A copy has already been sent to the Chautauqua Archives.
To order send a mailing address by Email or mail me a mailing label.
