I've recently come across some useful lineage pages on other county GenWeb
sites, e.g., Champaign Co IL at
http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilchampa/lineages/lineages.html (and see for good
examples there the Boyd, Rhodes, Rinheart and Swearingen lineages and the
Willard lineage, replete with photos). They offer more than just names and
dates and the best of them are laid out with a fair amount of textual
commentary. Another good example with some relevance for the Decatur Co
area is the Pool family page at
http://www.familytreemaker.com/users/p/o/o/Diane-L-Poole/BOOK-0001/0004-0...

These strike me as the kind of pages several people have occasionally asked
to put up and which we haven't so far accommodated beyond the Biographies
page. Perhaps the Fugit extracts from Harding that I posted a few days ago
would he appropriate for Lineage pages as well.
I'd be interested in knowing whether others would be interested in writing
up their Decatur Co family histories in this fashion for posting on the
Decatur GenWeb site.
