David -- thanks for getting back to me. I'll just have to keep searching
for more on this family. Happy Hunting.

Lora:
I have about 2250 direct descendants of Samuel McKee, who died in Fayette
County, KY, in 1813, but no Mary S. McKee or a Leffler of any sort.
Samuel's children were William (his descendants went to Illinois), David
(his went to Indiana, Illinois, and Missouri), Archibald (no children),
John
(died unmarried; presumably no children), Samuel Jr (he was the
pioneer
doctor in Vincennes, Indiana), James (I have not been able to determine
where/when/if he married or whether he had offspring), Jane (she married
John Story--her descendants went to Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and
Tennessee),
Polly (no idea what happened to her, and Elizabeth (married George
Hunter;
no record of any children). Samuel and his wife Martha were in Augusta
County, VA, near Staunton, ca 1762-late 1780s, and all of their children
were born there.
