Google.com is probably the most useful search tool available online.
A recent posting on other IN county discussion lists recommends a
short article which describes how it can best be used in genealogical
searches. It's at "Googling Genealogy Style: Twelve Google Search
Tips for Genealogists," at
http://genealogy.about.com/library/print/n052902a.htm
Another posting on the Rush County list refers to recent enhancement
of the DAR website at
www.dar.org). "Since the 1910s, DAR members
have been collecting unpublished genealogical materials, largely
Bible and cemetery transcriptions, in what we call the Genealogical
Records Committee Reports. There are nearly 18,000 volumes of these
typescripts in our library."
