John CHAMBERS one of its most honored and influential citizens of Burney
died Monday morning at his home near that place. The immediate cause of
death was tuberculosis of the bowels. A wife and son survive.

Sanford LUKENBILL, employed for a year or so at Indianapolis was killed
while riding in an automobile at Broadway and 30th streets when the car
overturned after a wheel struck soft earth. Others in the party were
nohurt (sic). The body was brought to the home of his mother and sister
in this city Monday morning.

The body of the late Sanford LUKENBILL who was crushed by an overturned
automobile in Indianapolis Sunday morning will be buried from the home
of his mother on West North street at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon Rev.
CLEVENGER will conduct the services. D D LUKENBILL of Attica Indiana
father of the deceased, Charles DOHERTY of New York City and Goodwin
NILES of Circleville Ohio are here to attend the funeral.

Mrs. Mary DOBLE of Shelbyville widow of the late Henry DOBLE and aunt of
Mrs. Stella Green RUCKER and Miss Margaret DRAKE of this city died in
her home Tuesday morning. A son Frank a Shelbyville business man and a
daughter Miss. Addie who has many friends in this city survive.

William NOAH aged 57 years one of the best known farmers in the county
turned from closing a business deal with one of his neighbors to enter
his home Wednesday morning and dropped dead before anyone could reach
his side. Mr NOAH had suffered several strokes of paralysis and had been
noticeably failing for several months but there was nothing to indicate
that death was so near.
