In the mist of life are death! Never more impressively do we realize it
than when we hear of the passing of a happy young girl wife with much of
this worlds goed (sic) her. Just the other day she was in Indianapolis
planning like a young girl her summer wardrobe.
Opal Lott NEWHOUSE is dead at the family home on West Washington street.
She had been improving and was hopeful of recovery to the health that
had been denied her since before her marriage less than a year ago.
To the mother Mrs. Margaret LOTT and the husband a deep sympathy. And
yet their grief should not be all sorrow. They can remember that she
passed feeling her mothers devotion and trusting her husbands
faithfulness. Her comfort was their first care always. Mrs. NEWHOUSE was
about twenty two years old. She was married some time last fall while in
the south to Lewis NEWHOUSE. The climate proved unfriendly and several
months ago they all came back north where it was thought she was getting
better.
