Lora, I'm just back home from 2 weeks in Idaho Falls, Idaho where I went to visit
my brother who ended up leaving us on October 21, the second of "we 13". We
have been very fortunate and indeed count our blessings daily. The first one was
only 8 mos and back in 1933. Since Decatur County (KEITH, VANTREESE, STORM to
name a few) is one of my strongest (Jennings is head and although I haven't
actually found any direct lines in Shelby but have enjoyed helping) I will be
very willing to continue helping you. Put my name on the Decatur list, as I had
volunteered a few months ago to help out if anyone could get it started <grin>.
Thank you for all your hard work in getting these "genealogy" items on the
website to help so many people who are unable to get it otherwise..

Greetings from Florida,
Would anyone like to help type some records? Sure could use your help. On
the Shelby County Site, Me, along with some wonderful people I have ever met,
put together some awesome records for the site. We typed, (and still are),
Naturalization, Church, Delayed Births, Wills, and I think some birth and
death records. John, List Dad, mentioned if I came across any records for
Decatur County, scoop them up. Well, I can do that. I am willing, to order
the film, make copies, and type. I'd like to start with the Marriages
records, those have proved to copy the best, and they will go fast. You can
type them in a word program, then send to John as an attachment, he will get
them to the site. Or you can just type in an email and send to John. Would
anyone like to help with this project? After we do the marriage records, and
if your still willing to help, we can do more. I will begin making a list of
names and addresses. Looking forward to this project, hopefully I'll see
some familiar names, and some new ones.
Thanks all,
Lora,
Jax, Fla
