Interesting - does anyone know anything about the Hotel De Armond? I'm
researching my DeArmond ancestors in Decatur Co. and was wondering if
there was any connection. I know John Sherman DeArmond (b. ca 1834)
was born in Westport, as well as his son, William Sherman (b. ca 1867).
I don't have much information on other children, or whether of any of
them were in Greensburg, though.

Would anyone have information on this photographer? What years it was
in operation?
I am searching the John and James Meyers family who lived in
Williamstown and their father, Henry Meyer (probably Heinrich Meier)
who was from Switzerland and died in the Civil War. Henry Meyer
married Sarah Kemp, daughter of Thomas and Mary Kemp, who had land in
Decatur County.
I would appreciate any information.
