I subscribe to a PML program through Rootsweb which allows me to
select names for which I receive all e-mail messages on Rootsweb
lists and GenConnect boards containing these names. "Decatur Co IN"
is one of the names I list and I occasionally receive potentially
interesting snippets or slabs of genealogy relating to the county. I
haven't bothered to pass these on unless I've known someone
interested, but from now on I'll post those of any substance to the
Indecatu list, along with occasional materials from other sources.
I'll save three or four to send at one time so as to reduce the
traffic.

Are there any church records on them?

As far as I know -there never was a Brethren Church in Decatur Co --However
this is in that Annual Meeting conflict that I run into so often here in
the Ohio River Valley. There were a number of the children of the various
Brethren families in the Olive Branch Church (Bullskin Landing -near
Felicity OH) that moved to Bartholemew and Decatur Cos IN --about
1840-1850. This was after the 1827 statement by Annual Meeting -to "avoid"
those "different Brethren" (frontier pietistic Brethren) who were already
out here. I often refer to my paper on "Brethren Pietism" -
<
www.cob-net.org/docs/brethrenlife.htm> - under "Brethren Frontiers"
The families I saw moving from Clermont and Brown Cos OH to Bartholemew and
Decatur Cos IN were mostly in the Hoover and Rohrer Families (from
Antietam to Wilmore KY to So Ohio). By then the Olive Branch Church had
reacted to the "avoidance" and gone Disciples of Christ (which so many of
these earlier Brethren also did). But as I stated for the Lost Creek
Church -in Orange Co -they didn't really see themselves as leaving the
Brethren -at Lost Creek -they still called themselves Dunker Christians -at
this time.
